Cookies

Chinglish? uses a minimal set of cookies.

Anonymous ID cookie

We set a single HttpOnly, non-tracking cookie containing a random UUID. It lets us attribute your votes to one anonymous user so you can change your vote without double-counting. It contains no personal information and cannot be read by JavaScript.

Analytics cookies

If Google Analytics is enabled for this deployment, it may set its own cookies to measure traffic. These load only when a GA ID is configured.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the anonymous ID cookie will simply create a new one on your next visit.
