Privacy Policy
We designed Chinglish? to be private by default. Here is what we do and do not collect.
What we collect
- Anonymous voting. Votes are tied to a random, non-identifying UUID stored in an HttpOnly cookie. We never link votes to your identity, email, or IP in our analytics.
- Submissions. If you submit a Chinglish example, we store the text you provide and an optional email you choose to share. We never require personal information.
- Optional analytics. If Google Analytics is configured, it may set its own cookies. No analytics load unless a GA ID is present.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share personal data.
- We do not run account-based tracking.
- We do not store IP addresses with submissions or votes.
